About

In retrospect, fashion has always been an integral part of my life. Whether it was designing a costume for my dance recitals or swapping out the gossip magazines for Vogue at the nail salon when I was the ripe age of seven, there was always something about fashion that resonated with me.

To me, fashion is the most powerful art there is. Its design, architecture and movement all in one, showing people who they are, and who they want to be. This sentiment could be attributed to my grandfather, who worked in the industry and is presently a professor at FIT, or from growing up in New York a.k.a the fashion capitol of the world. Either way my mind was made up from an early age that I wanted to be a part of that world and work in fashion.

As a graduating senior at Louisiana State University I have blended my love for writing and communicating by majoring in mass communication, with a focus in public relations. I intend to utilize my degree in conjunction with knowledge acquired from my internship experiences at companies such as Vera Wang and CollegeFashionista, to propel me into my desired career in the fashion industry.
